The author is showing satire because e is making fun of the bible by using evolution. He is saying that it makes people look and sound like monkeys. Clarence Darrow didn’t call any of the scientists to the stand. And how they brought a monkey on to the stand and they were asking him evolution questions.
How there is an ape on the stand and how it is ridicule show they were talking about eating babies and how the world would decrease and we would have more clothing and. They also call the ape to the stand and the ape is talking about how humans came from monkeys. The bible also doesn’t mention Cornelius at all.
