SDHW4: Diagram the following sentences. Be sure to diagram the prepositional phrases underneath the part of speech it modifies. Sometimes, prepositions modify an object of a preposition.

4. Every policemen and every firefighter ran into the station.

6. The governor of the province later repealed three of the laws.
7. Two unsuccessful rescue attempts have already been made.
8. Three very old men walked slowly to the end of the dock.
9. The two younger sons soon squandered their portion of the father’s estate.
10. During the next month the tempo of life in our little village increased noticeably.
